Conshohocken This Weekend — and All Summer Long

The Arts Festival is Saturday. Here’s your guide to everything happening in Conshy in 2026.

I’ve been managing property on W 6th Ave in Conshohocken for a few years now, and the thing that still surprises me is how much the borough punches above its weight. For a town of about 8,000 people sitting along the Schuylkill River, the energy here on a summer weekend is hard to match anywhere in the Philadelphia suburbs.

This weekend is a good example. Here’s what’s happening — this Saturday and all summer.

Arts Festival and Car Show — This Saturday, June 6

The Conshohocken Arts Festival and Car Show takes over Fayette Street this Saturday. Classic cars, live music, and regional artists right in the middle of the borough’s main strip. If you’ve never seen Fayette Street shut down for an event, it transforms completely — the street that’s usually a mix of restaurants and foot traffic becomes a full-on community block party. This one is worth showing up for.

Farmers Market — Saturdays Through November 7

The Conshohocken Farmers’ Market is in its fourth season in 2026, running Saturdays at the Plaza at SORA West, right at the corner of Fayette Street and West Elm Street — 9am to noon, 16-24 vendors, live music, outdoor seating. The Conshohocken Running Club meets there at 9am for a three-mile run open to all levels if you want to earn your breakfast from 1874 Social first. Dogs are welcome. Parking in the adjacent garage is free.

The vendor rotation changes week to week. Sorrentino Pasta + Provisions from Ambler makes regular appearances and is worth finding. This is the kind of market that rewards showing up early and wandering without a plan.

Fourth of July Soap Box Derby

For nearly 70 years, competitors and their families have gathered in Conshohocken on July 4 for the annual Soap Box Derby, attracting more than 30 entries. One of those events that feels genuinely old-school in the best way — the kind of thing that doesn’t exist in most suburban towns anymore.

Summer Concert Series — July Through August

Free live music in local Conshohocken parks throughout July and August. Bring chairs and a blanket. This is the kind of evening that fills up the sidewalks outside Conshohocken Brewing Company and Feine afterward — plan accordingly.

Funfest — September 19

Mark it now. The 33rd Annual Funfest takes over Fayette Street from noon to 8pm this year — nine full blocks, the largest in the event’s history. Live music all day from the Flanigan’s Boathouse Sound Stage, borough restaurants serving right on the street, and three blocks of vendors between Second and Fifth Avenue. If you make it to one Conshohocken event this year, make it Funfest.

Something New: Royal Farms Opening June 29

On the commercial side, Royal Farms is opening in Conshohocken on June 29 with a special soft opening event. Another addition to a corridor that keeps growing.

And Throughout the Summer: Just Walk Around

The everyday texture of the place is what makes it work beyond any single event. Conshohocken Brewing Company, Feine for coffee, Merenda Box for an eclectic global marketplace, Edwards’s Freeman Nut Company for old-school sweets, The Collective for local retail. The Schuylkill River Trail access from here is excellent — Philadelphia one direction, Valley Forge the other.
